The NDIS provides two primary types of funding: core funding and capacity building funding. The core funding is used to meet daily needs, while the capacity building funding is used to support long-term development and goals. Depending on the type of support required, each funding category has specific price limits. The NDIA sets price limits for some of the supports included in your plan. The price limit is the maximum price that a registered provider can charge you for your NDIS funded disability support or service. Providers decide their prices based on the cost of delivering supports or services. The NDIA does not set the prices that providers charge you. You can negotiate with your provider and they cannot charge you more than the price limit. If your plan is NDIA-managed or plan-managed, your provider must follow NDIS pricing arrangements and price limits. Self-managed participants can use registered or unregistered providers and are not subject to the pricing arrangements.
NDIS Pricing – Fees and Charges
When utilizing your NDIS funding, you may encounter several fees and charges, including:
Service provider fees: These are the costs charged by service providers for the support they offer. Providers cannot exceed the NDIS price limit for any support.
Plan management fees: If you opt for a plan manager to handle your NDIS plan, they may charge a fee, usually a percentage of your plan’s funding.
Support coordination fees: If you need assistance navigating the NDIS, a support coordinator can help, but they will charge a fee, typically a percentage of your funding.
Excess support fees: If you exceed the allocated funding for a particular support, you may incur an excess support fee, generally charged at the NDIS price limit for that support.
Our pricing is competitive and fair for all customers. Our price limits and pricing arrangements help you get reasonable value for money from your plan funds.
